DEPO inspects functioning of SIKSMHSS Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, MAY 29: District Education Planning Officer (DEPO)Udhampur, Girija Challu visited Shaheed Inspector Kamal Singh Government Model Higher Secondary School Boys (SIKSGMHSS), Udhampur and inspected the functioning of the school.

The DEPO was accompanied by the Incharge Principal of the school, Pawan Kumar.  She inspected the Kindergarten section of the School and interacted with the kids. The Officer also inspected Science Laboratories of the institution and directed the concerned to maintain proper record and keep the laboratories in good condition.

Girija Challu also convened a meeting with the staff members and emphasized on keeping a close vigil to protect the youth from the drug abuse. She directed the principal to stay vigilant and not allow outsiders to enter the school without any reason.

In this regard, a circular was also issued prohibiting entry of outsiders  into the school premises before and after school hours .
