Peddler held with 20 Kg Poppy Straw in Jammu’s Gandhi Nagar

JAMMU, 8 June 2023: Police achieved major success by recovering 20 kilograms of Poppy Straw from an accused peddler in the jurisdiction of PS Gandhi Nagar.

A police team of PS Gandhi Nagar while on patrolling duty near Amul Milk factory area rounded up a suspected person Raju Singh R/o Chimabath Tehsil Baba Bakala District Amritsar Punjab carrying 3 plastic bags. During search, 20 kilograms of poppy straw was recovered from the accused.

On this a case got registered at PS Gandhi Nagar and accused got arrested.
