Police apprehend three drug peddlers in Jammu, seize heroin

Jammu & Kashmir Police arrested three suspected drug peddlers in Jammu on Wednesday. The police recovered approximately 7-8 grams of heroin, also known as “chitta”, from their possession.

The arrests were made during a routine patrol in Jammu. According to reports, a police party stopped three individuals acting suspiciously. Upon searching them, authorities found the heroin.

A case (FIR No. 22/2024 u/s 8/22/22_29/NDPS ACT) has been registered at the P/S Bus Stand, and investigations are underway. Police officials believe more arrests are likely to be made in connection with this case.
