Teacher arrested for sexually harassing 9-year-old in Srinagar
The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday said that they have arrested an accused for sexually assaulting and inappropriately touching a 9-year-old girl in the Chanapora area of the Srinagar district.

According to the information tweeted by the police, the person has been identified as Abdul Wahid Bhat son of Abdul Rehman Bhat, a resident of Khan Colony, Chanapora.
The accused confessed to his crime, the police noted in the tweet. A case under 354 IPC and 12 POCSO Act has been registered against the accused at Chanapora police station.
