Ramban: Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra witnesses huge public participation on Day 57

RAMBAN JANUARY 25:  The ongoing Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, spearheaded by Deputy Commissioner  Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, is experiencing substantial public engagement as it progresses through its final leg. With an impressive turnout of 99,000 individuals, the yatra is strategically designed to reinvigorate the implementation of beneficiary-oriented schemes across the district.

As the Yatra reached Ward No-07 Rallu in Banihal town today touching Day 57, it underscored its commitment to inclusivity, staging a compelling demonstration of community involvement. This comprehensive journey, spanning the entire district, has evolved into a dynamic platform for educating the public about various government schemes.

The ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’ sessions have emerged as a crucial aspect, providing beneficiaries with a platform to share firsthand accounts of positive transformations after availing different Centrally Sponsored Schemes. Under the able guidance of the Deputy Commissioner, all departments actively promote and extend the benefits of their respective schemes, contributing significantly to the overall welfare of the community.

Cultural programs celebrating Ramban District’s rich heritage have been a standout feature, emphasizing the importance of cultural diversity. A collective Viksit Bharat Sankalp Pledge-taking ceremony at the heart of the Yatra served as a unifying force, symbolizing shared aspirations and fostering a sense of community spirit.

Throughout the Yatra, several key government initiatives gained widespread recognition, including PMAY-G, PMAY-U, PM-JAY Ayushman Card, Poshan ICDS, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, MUDRA Yojana, KCC, and PM Kissan Nidhi. Special emphasis has been placed on healthcare accessibility under PM-JAY Ayushman Cards, with regular health check-ups, including TB monitoring, ensuring the overall well-being of the community.
