3 notorious drug smugglers apprehended under NDPS Act in Baramulla

Baramulla Police have taken a strong stance against drug trafficking in the district. On Friday, police arrested three well-known drug smugglers under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT NDPS) Act.

The arrested individuals, identified as Shahid Hussain Dar, Mohd Saleem Sheikh alias Mass, and Nazaar Ahmad Bhatti, were known for supplying drugs to local youth in Uri, Kamalkote, Madiyan, Pattan, Sultanpora, and other areas of Baramulla.

Following their arrest and after obtaining the necessary authorization, the police lodged the smugglers in the Central Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu.
