Police apprehends two drug peddlers with Charas-like substance in Rajouri

In a swift operation, Jammu and Kashmir police in Rajouri district apprehended two drug peddlers and seized 110 grams of Charas-like substance.

The accused, identified as Mukesh Kumar and Amir Hussain, both residents of Rajouri, were intercepted by a police party from Police Post City Rajouri while attempting to flee the scene. Upon searching, Charas weighing approximately 110 grams, were recovered from them.

The arrests were made by a police team headed by ICPP City Rajouri under the supervision of SHO PS Rajouri.

A case (FIR No. 05/2024 U/S 8/20/29 NDPS Act) has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at Police Station Rajouri, and further investigation is underway.
