General Observer visited 2 polling stations in Nubra

Leh, May 7, 2024 In preparation for the upcoming general election, General Observer BH Talati for the 01-Ladakh Parliamentary Constituency, along with Expenditure Observer Gajender Singh, diligently inspected two polling stations in Sumoor and Warshi on May 6.

The General Observer conducted inspections at two key polling stations: the Government Higher Secondary School in Sumoor with the polling booth number 55 and the Warshi Polling Station with the polling booth number 35. Additionally, he made a brief visit to the Nubra Treasury Office, interacted with the staff and asked about the issues.

General Observer also made a visit to the Siachen Base Camp.

During his visit, the General Observer assessed the minimum facilities available at the polling stations. He actively engaged with each of the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) discussing the number of electors and emphasizing the imperative of maximum voter turnout.
