2 vehicles carrying illegal mining material seized in Bandipora

In a crackdown on illegal mining activities, the Bandipora Police seized two vehicles carrying illegal mining material in the Ajas area on Saturday.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team intercepted the vehicles and upon inspection, found them loaded with illegally extracted materials.

The authorities have taken action against the offenders under the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act (MMRD Act) in collaboration with the District Mineral Office, Bandipora.
