Two killed in tragic road accident on Jammu-Srinagar Highway in Ramban

Two people lost their lives in a tragic accident on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway early on Monday night.

The incident occurred around 12:30 am near Battery Chashma in Ramban district, when a car plunged into a deep gorge, estimated to be about 150 meters.

The two individuals in the car were rushed to the District Hospital Ramban, but unfortunately, they were declared dead upon arrival.

“A case has been registered at Police Station Ramban under relevant sections of the law, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident,” informed J&K Police.
