Jammu-Srinagar NH blocked due to mudslide and shooting stones; restoration work underway

RAMBAN April 29: Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NHW) has been blocked at Mehar and Gangroo due to mudslides and shooting stones triggered by heavy rainfall along the route. Authorities advise people to refrain from traveling on NH-44 until weather conditions improve and restoration work is completed. Restoration efforts are underway in the affected areas along the route. Additionally, Mughal Road and SSG Road remain closed. Commuters are urged to stay updated with the Traffic Control Unit (TCU) for the latest updates on road conditions and travel advisories.
