Social Forest department Budgam organizes Plantation drive

BUDGAM, October 31: In a concerted effort to promote environmental sustainability and community involvement, a successful plantation drive was today carried out at Government Middle School Housing Colony in Ompora, Budgam.

The event was conducted under the supervision of Tanveer Ahmed Paray, Divisional Forest Officer, Srinagar.

The plantation drive aimed to enhance the green cover of the region and promote a cleaner and healthier environment. It was followed by a cleanliness drive that extended from approach road to Railway station Budgam, further highlighting the commitment to ensuring the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the surroundings.

The enthusiastic participation of the local community, school students, and government officials made this initiative a resounding success.
