Sankalp Divas Commemorated at CUJ

 Jammu, 21 Feb 2024:  Central University of Jammu (CUJ) commemorated Sankalp Divas at Brig. Rajinder singh Auditorium today.The program aimed at advocating for the return of Pak Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POJK). A day dedicated to reaffirming our commitment to social causes and community welfare, was marked by enlightening and inspiring events.

The program was organized in collaboration with the Office of Dean Students Welfare, Jammu Kashmir Adhyan Kendra, and the Department of National Securities and witnessed a gathering of passionate individuals committed to the cause of reclaiming the region.

The events served as a platform for discourse and action regarding the critical issue of POJK. Participants were engaged in discussions, presentations, and heartfelt dialogues emphasizing the importance of reclaiming the territory for the welfare and security of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, UT.

Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Vice Chancellor Central University Jammu, honored the event as the Chief Patron, underlining the university’s commitment to encouraging meaningful dialogue on critical issues affecting the region and its people.

Sh. Rupesh Kumar, a distinguished social worker, graced the occasion as the special guest. In his address he highlighted the emotional and sensitive aspects of the struggle to regain POJK.

Earlier Prof. Ritu Bakshi, Dean Student’s Welfare welcomed esteemed guests. She also introduced the Annual Fest of Central University of Jammu UDAAN -2024 before the detailed presence.

In addition to advocating for the return of POJK, the event also marked the inauguration of CUJ’s annual fest, UDAAN-2024, by the Office of Dean Students Welfare. This fusion of activism and celebration underscores the university’s dedication to holistic development and societal engagement.

The event also witnessed a book release written by Mr. Kuljeet and Dr. Shashank Kulkarni.
