Ramban District embraces PM’s Vision through Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra

RAMBAN, JANUARY 16; Continuing its journey across the length and breadth of Ramban district, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) initiative has reached the majority of Panchayats in Ramban district.

 Today, the VBSY visited Panchayat Shagan, Trigam Lower-A, and ward no-6 Batti Mohalla in Batote town. Led by Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, the VBSY has actively engaged over 92,000 individuals, including 36,000 women, across 143 Panchayats and 3 Municipalities since its launch on November 28.

The initiative aims to ensure the timely delivery of government flagship schemes to all targeted beneficiaries. The VBSY van, equipped with a large screen displaying the Prime Minister’s messages, visited these areas, where the local community took the Sankalp pledge to contribute towards making India a developed nation by 2047. They also expressed their support for various government welfare programs.

PRIs, prominent citizens, and the general public attended the events. Representatives from different departments, including Agriculture, Horticulture, Health, Animal Husbandry, Handloom, and Handicraft, showcased their schemes through informative stalls. The speakers highlighted the government’s vision for a developed and prosperous country, emphasizing that the VBSY serves as a unique initiative to reach people at their doorsteps, making them aware of various schemes for their empowerment.

Beneficiaries shared stories of transformation and development, while gathering feedback from the public regarding the implementation of government schemes received high appreciation from the attendees.
