Drug peddler arrested in Palhallan, Baramulla; 115 grams of Charas seized

In a significant crackdown on illicit drug trafficking, police in Palhallan, Baramulla have apprehended a drug peddler and confiscated 115 grams of contraband Charas from his possession.

The arrest was made during a targeted operation conducted by the police team, acting on intelligence inputs regarding the sale and distribution of narcotics in the area.

The arrested peddler has been shifted to the police station for further questioning. A case under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered against him.
