Rahul Gandhi must come clear on grave mistakes committed by Congress in relation to J&K: BJP

JAMMU January 17: Rahul Gandhi must come clear on grave mistakes done by Congress in relation to Jammu & Kashmir before leading “Bharat Jodo Yatra” to J&K, said Sunil Sethi, Chief Spokesperson Adv. Sunil Sethi.

Sunil Sethi accompanied by J&K BJP Office Secretary Tilak Raj Gupta and J&K BJP Media Secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra raised burning questions on “Congress’s intention in its “Bharat Jodo Yatra” led by Rahul Gandhi which is about to enter Jammu & Kashmir.

Sunil Sethi raised the questions like.

When Maharaja of Jammu & Kashmir was willing for accession in June-July 1947, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru resisted the historic steps in order to allot a greater role to Sheikh Abdullah and deliberately tried to sideline Maharaja. Good decision at that time could have prevented loss of uncountable precious lives in J&K’s later.

Indian forces were successfully marching ahead on the occupied lands; why Pt. Nehru took the matter to the UN stopping the triumphant Indian forces.

Why Pt. Nehru raised the issue of plebiscite? Nehru’s decision to declare J&K’s accession to be “provisional” led to the birth of Article 370.

He should also answer the question like:

Upon the defeat of Pakistan in war, we released 90,000 soldiers but did not ask for release of our occupied lands of PoJK. In the 1971 war there was grave injustice done to the Chamb Displaced.

Why there was no state subject of West Pakistan refugees.

Rahul Gandhi should answer the Valmiki Samaj who could not apply for jobs other than Safai Karamcharis. He should answer the Gorkha samaj. He should answer all those women who were denied rights.

Former PM Rajiv Gandhi made the accord, which forcibly put the NC government at the powerhouse in J&K and subsequent Rigging of elections, which led to the start of displacement of Kashmiri Pandits.

Kashmir displaced people are also questioning Congress for their negative role in probably the world’s largest internal displacement.

History of congress clearly tells us that they support Bharat Todo instead of Bharat Jodo. If they truly wished to unify India, today the condition could have been different.

Another question is that today the Gupkar gang is supporting Bharat Jodo Yatra. The Gupkar gang is supporting talks with China and Pakistan on J&K. Does Rahul Gandhi support these persons?

Pakistan is continually sending terrorists like Kasab, should we talk to that Nation which is promoting terrorism in India.

Rahul Gandhi must clear his stand that whether he stands for the unity of India and he is more interested in supporting the persons longing to divide India.

After 2019, now peace is prevalent more than ever.

BJP understands that Congress wants to divide the Nation on the name of region, religion and sentiments so that Congress and Gupkar gang could reap benefits out of the turmoil.

Sunil Sethi also added that when Rahul Gandhi enters Jammu & Kashmir, he must bow down at the feet of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee to thank him that he is entering the region without first applying for Permit.
