Patwari arrested for accepting bribe of ₹30,000 in Basantgarh, Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, Jan 11: J&K Anti Corruption Bureau trapped and arrested Darbinder Singh, Patwari, Halqa Rasli Gandhera, Basantgarh, Udhampur for demanding and accepting bribe of ₹30,000 for issuance of Fard.

Anti Corruption Bureau received a complaint alleging that Darbinder Singh is demanding a bribe of ₹ 50,000 for the issuance of Fard.

Acting on this, a trap team was constituted by ACB and caught the accused officer along with his driver while demanding and accepting bribe of ₹30,000 in presence of independent witnesses.

The bribe amount was also recovered from them. Further investigation of the case is going on.
