Notorious drug smuggler booked under PIT NDPS Act in Jammu

Jammu Police have arrested notorious drug smuggler Chirag Attri in a major crackdown against drug peddlers in the region. Attri was booked under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT NDPS) Act.

According to reports, Attri was involved in promoting drug abuse among local youth. He has multiple NDPS cases registered against him. Police officials apprehended Attri and placed him under detention. He has been lodged in District Jail Kathua.
