Missing girl traced out from Kalakote, Rajouri within 02 days; reunited with family: Reasi police

A young woman from Chassana, Reasi, who went missing on March 25th, has been reunited with her family thanks to the swift action of the Reasi Police.

The woman’s father (name withheld) reported her missing to the Chassana Police Station. Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, SSP Reasi, Mohita Sharma, formed a special team to locate the girl as soon as possible.

Through inquiries with the family, relatives, and friends, the team gathered crucial leads. Utilizing these clues and technical support, they were able to pinpoint the missing girl’s location in Kalakote district, Rajouri.

A police team led by Inspector Ranjeet Rao, SHO Chassana, conducted raids in various locations and successfully recovered the girl. After completing legal formalities, she was reunited with her overjoyed family.

The family, relatives, and the community expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Reasi Police for their tireless efforts in finding the missing woman.

This incident highlights the Reasi Police’s commitment to tackling crimes against women, particularly those involving minors. SSP Sharma has emphasized the importance of remaining vigilant against fraudsters who prey on innocent people. She has also urged young women to be aware of such dangers.
