Militant associate arrested in Sopore, hand grenade seized

SOPORE Feb 28: In a significant development, Sopore Police, in collaboration with 22RR and 179 BN CRPF, apprehended Arif Hussain Bhat, a resident of Mundji Bomai, who was found to be in communication with terrorist handlers from across the border. Following interrogation, Bhat confessed to his terrorist affiliations, leading to the recovery of a live hand grenade. A case has been registered under relevant sections of the UA(P)A, and investigations are underway.
