Kishtwar: Kisan Sampark Abhiyan enters 3rd phase Farmers’ orientation program held across 7 designated Panchayats

ADDC leads training programat Palmar C; Reviews progress of SBM-G works, waste collection, construction of Pyt Ghars

KISHTWAR, May 09: The 3rd phase of Kissan Sampark Abhiyan under  Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) was today  carried out at 7 designated Panchayats of District  Kishtwar under the close supervision of District Development Commissioner  Dr Devansh Yadav and Nodal Officer, Amjad Hussain Malik.

 The farmers were oriented about various interventions envisioned under HADP and different government schemes meant for their uplift . The training was conducted by field functionaries of Agriculture Departments and allied sectors.

 Additional District Development Commissioner, Sham Lal presided over the training programme at Panchayat Palmar C in presence of Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Zakir Hussain Wani.

Till date, the Kisan Sampark Abhiyan programme has successfully covered 14 Panchayats, providing training to over 1500 farmers. The programme aims to equip farmers with the knowledge and resources they need to improve their livelihoods and increase their income.

Meanwhile, the ADDC and ACP conducted a field visit of block Palmar and reviewed SBM-G works, Door to Door collection of waste, construction of Panchyat Ghars, CSC’s and SWM sheds in different Pyts of the block.

Similar training was given at other Panchayats, including Balgran, Bhagana C, Binoon, Hidyal, Chhatroo C, Sigdi B1, under the supervision of district and sectoral officers of the Agriculture and Allied Sector.
