Kavinder to lead Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan in West Bengal

Month-long campaign will highlight achievements of nine years of Modi Govt

JAMMU: Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta is going to lead the month-long Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan at West Bengal.

In a statement issued to media persons, the BJP stalwart leader said that as part of celebrations of successful nine years of Modi Govt at the Centre, BJP is organising countrywide Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan from May 30 to June 30, whereby senior leaders of the party will visit different states and stay there for five days visiting different constituencies to highlight the achievements of the BJP Government.

Kavinder also informed that as part of the campaign, he has been asked by the party high command to visit West Bengal and stay there for five days covering four constituencies including Hooghly, Bardhaman-Durgpur, Bishnupur (SC) and Bangaon.

He said that under the nationwide campaign  traders’ convention, intellectuals’ meet, interaction with beneficiaries of Central Welfare Schemes, celebration of International Yoga Day on June 21,  observation of Dr Syama Parsad Mukerjee’s Balidan Diwas on June 23, listening to Mann Ki Baat programme on June 28, rallies, Samparak Abhiyan and door to door campaigns will be organized to mobiles the electorates and convince them to support BJP in the upcoming political contests as only BJP Government can steer the country towards new heights of peace and progress.

The senior BJP functionary said that  he shall be leaving for West Bengal tomorrow  and is quite optimistic about fulfilling the responsibility which the party high command has given to him in context with highlighting the feats achieved by the BJP Government in last nine years.
