Jugal, Dr Manyal pay tribute to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev in Samba

SAMBA, March 23: Kissan Morcha of J&K BJP paid rich tributes to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their Shahidi Diwas at Ramgarh in Samba.

Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member parliament and Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal, former minister and General Secretary, BJP J&K along with Chairman DDC Keshav Dutt Sharma, BJP District Samba President Kashmira Singh, Kisan Morcha President Sarbjit Singh Johal, and other leaders paid floral tributes to them and saluted their Martyrdom.

While paying respect to the brave-hearts who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country, Jugal Kishore Sharma said that today we are remembering with reverence the martyrdom of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru, the true sons of Mother India. On Martyr’s Day, we salute and pay our respect to them as they sacrificed their lives for countrymen and it is because of this we are living in an independent nation. He said that at such a young age of 23, Bhagat Singh along with Rajguru and Sukhdev sacrificed their life to liberate the country from the British. He said that those who valiantly fought for India’s independence, this day serves as a poignant reminder of their relentless struggle and sacrifices endured to break free from British rule and added that this day stands as a solemn tribute to the sacrifices made by these heroic individuals, igniting inspiration among the present generation to persist in the pursuit of the nation’s progress and advancement.

Dr Devinder Manyal said that Martyr’s Day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Rajguru and Sukhdev holds profound significance as it enlightens us about the essence of freedom and the immense sacrifices made by our forebears to secure it. It serves as a perpetual reminder that we must never underestimate the value of our freedom and should continuously endeavor to safeguard it.
