J&K: DGP watches Aman Memorial T-20 Cricket Tournament, inaugurates new facilities, tech initiatives

Kishtwar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], September 8 (ANI): Director General of Police (DGP) of Jammu and Kashmir Dilbag Singh on Friday watched the final match of the Aman Memorial T-20 Cricket Tournament and inaugurated the new facilities and technological initiatives in Kishtwar aimed at enhancing Kishtwar Police and community engagement in the region, said an official statement from J&K Police on Friday.  

During this visit, the DGP inaugurated newly constructed GOs Mess will serve as a hub for police officers, providing them with a comfortable and conducive environment for meetings, discussions, and relaxation, added the statement. 

Apart from that he also launched the Kishtwar Police Website and a police post in Mughalmaidan.

DGP expressed his enthusiasm for these developments, emphasizing the importance of technology, infrastructure, and community engagement in modern policing, said the statement. 

Recognizing the hard work and initiatives of the district police DGP facilitated SI Ashwani kangotra of district Police kishtwar for developing Kishtwar Police Website and building E- Beat Book Mobile APP, mentioned the official statement. 

During the visit DGP was accompanied by ADGP Jammu Zone Mukesh Singh and DIG DKR Range Dr Sunil Gupta.
