Dr Mehta chairs District ASHA Functionality review meeting

POONCH, February 28: State Programme Manager ASHA CP J&K, Dr. Jatinder Mehta along with Senior State Trainer / Divisional Training Coordinator, Jonson Chandail today chaired a meeting with health officers/officials and took a detailed District ASHA Functionality review for the 3rd quarter in respect of District Poonch.

The meeting was attended by Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Anis Altaf Nabi, BMOs, DPMUs, DAC, BPMUs,  BACs, AFs, besides other officials of the health department.

At the outset, a detailed PowerPoint presentation was given on Asha functionaries work done by the concerned.

 Dr. Jatinder Mehta reviewed each component and issued directions to the concerned staff to conduct Asha Meetings at block level regularly at the end of every month.

Later, Dr. Mehta along with Chief Medical Officer Poonch and team also visited District Hospital Poonch to review the HLL projects, Palliative and Geriatric care in the facility.

They inspected all sections of the institution to review the progress of NQAS gap filling in the facility.

Dr. Mehta interacted with the Medical superintendent of District Hospital Poonch, Doctors/Incharges of different sections and discussed the strengthening of the healthcare delivery system in the hospital for the benefit of the public at large. 

  Dr. Mehta along with team also visited CHC Surankote to review the progress of NQAS gap filling in the facility. He also directed to improve every health indicator.
