Dewan Devi Public School Rajpura celebrates Baisakhi Festival with great pomp
Jammu 12 Apr 2024: Dewan Devi Public School Rajpura today celebrated Baisakhi Festival with great pomp and show. The students of Kindergarten and Class 10th dressed in colourful dresses, presented various cultural programmes like Giddha, Dhandiya, Bhangra etc. with great enthusiasm .
Various stalls were organized by the students of four houses i.e Subhash ,Tagore, Ashoka & Raman House along with their teachers.
Children danced gracefully in their beautiful dresses. Dance was enjoyed not only by the students but the parents and teachers also.
Dr. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Assistant Professor at Central University, Himachal Pradesh ,Dharmshala, also ex-student of Dewan Devi Public School, paid a visit to the Baisakhi function. The chairman of the school, Sh. Subhash Chander Suri greeted the students and staff members on this occasion and advised the students to work hard in their life as their hard work will surely bring the fruit of success.He also advised not to waste water, food and electricity in their daily life .The Principal of school, Mrs. Seloni Suri delivered the vote of thanks.
