DDC Kishtwar chairs DLIC meeting; approves 73 new cases under MUMKIN Scheme; 11 cases under Tejaswini

KISHTWAR, MARCH 09: A meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) was held today at the new DC Office Complex in Kishtwar District to review the implementation of MUMKIN and Tejaswini initiatives. The meeting was chaired by the District Development Commissioner, Dr Devansh Yadav.

The Nodal Officer (AD, Employment) and Employment Officer briefed the chair and other members on the current status of cases approved in previous DLIC meetings.

During the meeting, several cases of unemployed eligible youth in the district were presented to the Committee for approval under MUMKIN and Tejaswini. After reviewing the cases, the DDC approved 73 new cases under MUMKIN and 11 Tejaswini cases, with further refining of the cases received under the scheme. The chair directed the concerned authorities to guide the candidates in the list to ensure they get the maximum benefit from the schemes.

The chair also instructed the officials to prepare and gear up for different activities to be conducted for revitalization of youth clubs in the district.

The meeting was attended by various officials including the Deputy Director of Employment, Idrees Lone; District Social Welfare Officer, Zubair Ahmed; ARTO, Er Romesh Samotra; LDM, Pankaj Kumar, Employment Officer, Waseem Hassan and representatives from DIC, Cluster Head J&K Bank and JKEDI Kishtwar.
