DC reviews progress of ongoing developmental works in RDD Sector

UDHAMPUR, October 14: In an effort to assess the current status of various ongoing developmental projects in Rural Development Department (RDD) sector, Deputy Commissioner Udhampur  Saloni Rai conducted a comprehensive review meeting with RDD officers at the DC Office Complex Udhampur.

 The meeting, attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Ghan Sham Singh, Sub Divisional Magistrates, and Block Development Officers (BDOs), focused on multiple RDD work schemes and programs, including MGNREGA, PMAY-G, ADP, progress of Amrit Sarovars, SBM-G advancements, estimates for CSC under SBM-G phase-II, material expenditure by block, work progress up to the financial year 2023-24, and ensuring timely payments, among other critical aspects.

 During the meeting, BDOs were directed to prioritize the timely execution of all schemes while maintaining a strong emphasis on quality and transparency. The DC emphasized the importance of adhering to project timelines and completing ongoing initiatives within the stipulated timeframes. She stressed the significance of transparency and accountability throughout RDD sector projects in the district, urging officers to work diligently and with dedication to achieve the targets set for the current financial year. Continuous monitoring was also highlighted as essential to maintain work quality and meet deadlines.
