DC Poonch visits remote areas, inspect PMGSY roads, Sub-hospital

Also visits Hill Kak, Pays tributes to martyrs

 POONCH, MAY 27: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Yasin M. Choudhary today visited Hill Kaka, a remote area of Poonch district.

During his visit to Hill Kaka, the DDC attended a program organized by the 16RR Army regiment at Kallali Murrah, along with SSP Poonch, Rohit Baskotra. He also paid his respects to the martyrs who lost their lives during the Hill Kak operation.

The DDC extended deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of all those who lost their lives in the Hill Kaka operation.

During the visit, the District Development Commissioner (DDC) conducted an extensive tour of Buffliaz Block and inspected various ongoing projects.

The DDC inspected the progress of work on 10.50 KM PMGSY road from Buffliaz to Kalali. The DDC directed the concerned authorities to blacktop the balance length of 700 mtr on priority to ensure better connectivity for the local residents.

In addition, the DDC also inspected 63.40 KM Buffliaz to Mandi Phagla Road. The DDC issued directions to expedite the pace of work for completing the project well within the timeline. He also inspected Thannamandi Buffliaz Surankote Road from DKG, along with Greff (BRO) officers and the contractor. He also discussed alignment issues on the Thannamandi Buffliaz Surankote Road at Mirza mod Surankote.

The DC also inspected Sub-hospital Surankote and the drainage (Nallah) of Surankote Town. He directed the concerned officers to complete the work at the earliest so that the people can benefit from better connectivity.
