DC Doda discusses missing persons cases

DODA, May 4: The district Administration Doda today discussed the cases of missing persons here at a meeting of different departments. 

The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Mahajan along with SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom and attended by officers from the CID department, revenue department, CRPF, Army and other representatives. 

A total of 22 cases of missing persons were discussed in the meeting, with detailed information provided by the concerned officers. 

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner emphasised the importance of maintaining proper records and detailed information of all missing persons to facilitate proper verification. The officers were urged to take necessary measures to ensure that all relevant information is recorded accurately to aid in the identification of missing persons. Out of the 22 cases of missing persons discussed in the meeting, 18 cases were declared dead, and 4 cases were sent for re-verification in the concerned departments.

 The attendees were encouraged to continue their efforts to address the issue of missing persons in the district and take appropriate steps to prevent such incidents in the future.
