Crackdown on narcotics: Drug peddler arrested, charas seized in Bandipora

In a crackdown on drug trafficking, Bandipora Police arrested a drug peddler in the Nadihal area and seized illegal contraband from his possession.

According to reports, acting on specific intelligence regarding drug peddling activities in Nadihal, a police party launched a surprise operation.

The police team successfully apprehended one suspect. During a search, officers recovered Charas, a narcotic substance, from the individual’s possession.

A case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at Police Station Aragam. Further investigation into the case is underway.
