BJP reviews preparations for Shah’s rally

JAMMU, 20 June : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, led by party General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul and J&K BJP Seh-Prabhari, Ashish Sood, addressed a meeting to discuss the preparations for the upcoming public rally of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Former BJP President & former Minister Sat Sharma, Vice-President Yudhvir Sethi and General Secretary & former Minister Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal also addressed the meeting held at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

BJP Vice-President & former Minister Sham Lal Sharma, former Minister Sukhnandan Choudhary, District Presidents Rajeev Sharma (former MLA), Parmod Kapahi, Sunil Shastri, Rekha Mahajan, Mahila Morcha President Sanjita Dogra, BJYM President Arun Dev Jamwal, OBC Morcha President Sunil Prajapati and other party leaders participated in the meeting.

Ashok Koul, while addressing the meeting, stressed upon the party leaders to go for minute planning to manage every aspect of the rally. He said that the public rally would be a massive one owing to the eagerness of the general public and party workers to listen to their tall leader. He said that in view of anticipation of heavy rush of participants in the rally, every care has to be taken to make sure that no harassment is done to the general public or to the locals during the rally. He specifically focused on the proper parking of the vehicles to ease the commuting and also provision of drinking water in view of the harsh summer days.

Ashish Sood, in his address, asked the senior party leaders to mobilize the public to attend the rally by going to the areas in and around Jammu district  so that the masses could reach the venue in large numbers and make it a historic event. He said that the people of J&K are thankful to the Union Home Minister for abrogating the Articles 370 and 35(a) and as such, they would be looking forward to listening to Amit Shah.
