Another Astha Train flagged off from holy town Katra to Ayodhya

Yudhvir, Aseem assures full support in facilitating sacred journey of Ram Bhakts from J&K to Ayodhya

KATRA, February 13: Amidst religious fervor and devotion, yet another Astha Train, carrying 1375 devotees of Shree Ram, was flagged off from the Shree Mata Vaishno Railway Station in Katra towards the Holy City Ayodhya.

The Astha Train was flagged off by senior BJP leaders including Arvind Gupta, State Secretary and Prabhari Reasi, Rohit Dubey, District President, Shashi Sharma, Ex-chairman Municipal Committee Katra, and Ex-MLA Baldev Sharma, Ritu Thakur, Sham Pandit and others at the Shree Mata Vaishno Railway Station in Katra.

Upon its arrival at Udhampur, the Astha train was warmly received and flagged off by Arun Gupta, District President Udhampur, alongside dedicated party workers who added to the spirit of the event.

Similarly in Jammu, Yudhvir Sethi, J&K BJP Vice President, who is also a Convenor of Ram Darshan Ayodhya Committee along with his Co-Convenors Aseem Gupta and Reema Padha, received the Astha Train at Railway Station Jammu. Sethi also reviewed arrangements for the devotees travelling in the Astha Train, ensuring everything was in place for the seamless journey of the devotees. Later, they flagged off the Astha Train from the Railway Station in Jammu.

Speaking on the occasion, Yudhvir Sethi expressed that this sacred journey to Ayodhya will not only deepen spiritual bonds but also reinforce the spirit of nationalism among devotees across the country. Emphasizing the significance of pilgrimage, he highlighted its role in fostering unity and solidarity. Additionally, he extended gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for fulfilling the dreams of crores of people of the country with the historic construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya after a gap of nearly 500 years.

He mentioned that the District Offices of the Bharatiya Janata Party across the Union Territory facilitating the devotees by assisting them in train ticket bookings, arranging accommodations, providing local conveniences, and facilitating their Darshan at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

Sethi also extended his gratitude to the Northern Railways for their overwhelming support in making this pilgrimage initiative possible. By facilitating the journey of Ram devotees to Ayodhya, the BJP aims to provide an opportunity for spiritual fulfillment and strengthen the bond of devotion among the people of Jammu & Kashmir, he added.

For further information and assistance regarding the Ayodhya pilgrimage, Yudhvir Sethi urged the Ram Bhakts to contact the respective District Offices of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Jammu and Kashmir and assured them that full support will be provided to them in their sacred journey from Katra to Ayodhya.

Arvind Gupta, flagging off Yatra from Katra said that a large number of people from Jammu & Kashmir desire to visit Shree Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. To facilitate their smooth visit, stay and Darshan of Shree Ram Lala, BJP workers are meticulously assisting them in the whole process involving registrations, boarding, lodging, meals and Darshan.
