Angelina Jolie turned Basquiat’s old home into an Atelier, Cafe

Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has opened a Cafe and an Atelier inside of Basquiat’s old home.

The information in this regard was revealed by an Instagram user Uncover More on its handle.

The Atelier Jolie, a creative collective for self-expression founded by Angelina Jolie, functions as an atelier and a café by Eat Off Beat.

In 1970, Andy Warhol acquired a two-story building, later renting the second floor to his friend Jean-Michel Basquiat in the ‘80s. Over the years, the façade has become a canvas for local street artists, preserving traces of Basquiat’s influence despite changing ownership.

Jean-Michel Basquiat’s sisters Lisane Basquiat and Jeanine Heriveauxex illuminate his contribution to the history of art at the exhibit King Pleasure.

Eat Off Beat offers fair-trade coffee and a rotation of beverages from their chefs’ countries all around the world.

The Atelier is currently open by appointment only, while the cafe is open for walk-ins daily.
