ADDC reviews progress of work on mega developmental projects, implementation of Central schemes in Kishtwar District

Asks Executing agencies to work in tandem to achieve tangible results

KISHTWAR, FEBRUARY 10: In a proactive move towards fostering development in the district, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kishtwar, Ghulam Rasool today led a pivotal introductory meeting with Officers of key line department and executing agencies.

The primary focus of the meeting was the comprehensive review of the implementation status of Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS), progress under the District Capex Budget, and Iconic projects in the district.

During the meeting, ADDC Kishtwar introduced the officers and officials present, setting the stage for collaborative efforts. Emphasizing the need for 100% saturation of CSS in the district, he underscored the significance of ensuring the efficient utilization of centrally sponsored resources for maximum impact.

In a detailed review of the Capex Budget progress, the ADDC  stressed the importance of completing ongoing projects within specified timelines. He urged a balanced financial progress aligned with tangible achievements and emphasized the paramount need for maintaining high-quality standards across various sectors.

The chair also scrutinized the pace of various Iconic projects in the district, highlighting their vital role in public utility. ADDC Kishtwar directed executing agencies to adhere strictly to timelines, ensuring the timely completion of these projects.

The meeting was attended by PO ICDS Dr Rishi Kumar Sharma, Joint Director Planning Mohd Iqbal,DYSSO Kishtwar Kharati Lal Sharma, ExEn PWD, ExEn Jal Shakti, ExEn PDD besides representatives of various departments.
