ACD assesses plastic management, community needs in Inderwal, Mughal Maidan Blocks

KISHTWAR, MAY 08: Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Kishtwar, Phulail Singh today conducted a comprehensive assessment of plastic management units in Inderwal and Mughal Maidan Blocks.
During the assessment, the ACD directed Block Development Officers (BDOs) to ensure effective implementation of plastic management strategies, with emphasis on establishing robust forward and backward linkages.
The BDOs were further tasked with optimizing door-to-door collection mechanisms to streamline plastic waste disposal processes effectively.
Additionally, the ACD inspected the recent fire incident site that resulted in the destruction of a Panchayat Ghar in Chatroo A. The visit highlights the administration’s proactive stance towards addressing community emergencies and ensuring swift response measures.
Furthermore, the progress of work on under execution development projects including the construction of Panchayat Ghar in Mulchitter was assessed, signaling the administration’s commitment to bolster local governance infrastructure.
In a demonstration of the administration’s people-centric approach, grievances voiced by the public were attentively noted during interactions in Mulchitter and Mughal Maidan.
