6 detained for creating panic by bursting crackers in Srinagar

SRINAGAR, Jan 11: Police have detained 6 miscreants for bursting firecrackers on Syedpora-zoonimar stretch in the evening so as to create panic among the public.

Initially, five people were detained, and later one more was detained, taking the total number to six, police said.

Police said all had a history of indulging in stone-pelting in the past.

Further, the course of the investigation is going on.
