Yudhvir Sethi holds public darbar at BJP headquarters
Jammu, 25 June 2025: BJP Vice-President and former MLA from Jammu East, Yudhvir Sethi, held a Public Darbar at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
The Public Darbar was aimed at addressing public grievances and ensuring quick redressal of civic and infrastructural issues.
A large number of deputations from various parts of Jammu including Greater Kailash, New Company Bagh Canal Road, Gangyal, Sector-6 Nanak Nagar, Ward 19, Hajipura, Vikram Chowk, Upper Sidhra, Batra Majin, Near Polytechnic Vikram Chowk, Channi Himmat, Room Nagar, Adarsh Enclave, Bandu Rakh, Sainik Colony and others participated in the darbar. The residents raised a range of pressing issues related to their respective areas.
The major concerns presented before Yudhvir Sethi included installation of new street lights, laying of new PHE water pipelines, clearance of deep drains, and construction of damaged lanes and drains. Delegations also highlighted issues such as construction of a store room and steel staircase at Gurdwara Sahib Vikram Chowk, upgradation of gratings, transfer and deployment of Municipal autos from Ward 47 to Ward 71, leakage in PHE lines, repair and replacement of transformers, land disputes, and erratic water supply in several pockets.
Listening patiently to each delegation, Yudhvir Sethi assured that all genuine grievances will be taken up with the concerned departments for immediate action. He stated, “Our goal is to ensure last-mile delivery of civic services and address the day-to-day problems of the people with utmost seriousness. BJP is committed to participatory governance, and these Public Darbars serve as a bridge between the citizens and the administration.”
He further said that timely intervention in such matters not only resolves the problems but also strengthens the trust of people in the democratic process. “Every issue raised today has been noted and necessary directions will be given to the concerned departments,” he added.
