War-like stores recovered along LoC in Poonch: Brigadier R Krishnan on Dec 29 infiltration attempt

POONCH Jan 08: Commander Krishna Ghati Brigade, Brigadier R Krishnan addressed the media over the infiltration attempt on Dec 29. Brigadier R Krishnan informed that large quantities of war-like stores, clothing & sustenance material were recovered from a jungle near LOC. Major weapons & equipment were recovered from the backpacks he added.

Commander Krishna Ghati Brigade said that weapons & equipment like 2 pistols, 2 US-made night vision goggles, 1 binocular, 1 camcorder with pictures of terrorist & their training, combat dresses, warm clothing, etc were recovered. With the quick action of alert troops, major infiltration was stopped, he added.

Various designs of the terrorists to disrupt peace in the Poonch & Rajouri districts were thwarted successfully. The Indian Army continues to remain alert on LOC, Commander said. (ANI)
