Vivek Bali visits Shangus Constituency Anantnag and listens to public grievances

ANANTNAG,12 June: Vivek Bali State General Secretary JD(U) visited Khundoora Shangus Constituency area and there is no doubt that all the previous regimes neglected it for the over seven decades. Drinking water electric wiring, poles, etc facility of the Khundoora area paints a grim picture of a deliberate neglect by the previous regimes, reasons best known to them,”  and other interior areas of Khundoora and felt that people were craving for better roads, proper drainage system and clean drinking water supply.

Their problems were taken up with the concerned officials of the departments by Vivek Bali.

While welcoming the newly joined Fayaz Ahmad Mir into the party fold, Vivek Bali hoped that their joining will strengthen the party base. He asserted that the Jammu and Kashmir is passing through a difficult phase and need of the time is to strengthen the hands of JDU to steer it to peace, progress and development. He asked the newly joined Fayaz Ahmad to make people aware about the pro-people policies of the JD(U).

 Vivek Bali said that there is anger among people. The BJP has played with the sentiments of people who voted them to power. People are not happy with their policies, he said. 

“Growing public disenchantment is a reflection of dismal performance of the central dispensation on all fronts. BJP exploited public sentiment, not only by whipping up passions on religion and region but also by making hollow promises about development,” Bali said.

“The basic motto of this Public meeting was to asses the political strength of our party cadres, urging people to join the party in order to win over the political forces that have only utilised the people’s vote for their own benefits and adress the issues faced by common man by voicing their concern before the concerned authorities,” Bali said.
