Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra campaign abounds across Ramban District; Vans visit 8 Panchayats

RAMBAN, December 04: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) was accorded a warm welcome by PRIs, senior citizens, youth and local residents as it traversed across 8 Panchayats of Ramban Block.

Witnessing enthusiastic and vibrant participation of all stakeholders, the campaign was held in Panchayat   Kunfer, Sawani, Neera, Kanthi, Beri Neghal, Demote-A, Demote-B and Sildhar of Block Ramban.      

  Equipped with IEC vans, the yatra spread awareness about Government schemes among the public. Health camps, Sankalp pledges, and outreach activities were organized, fostering community engagement, besides making available on-the-spot services.

 On the arrival of Yatra at each respective location, a dynamic mix of events and initiatives unfolded, intertwining stories of empowerment and collective engagement towards a shared vision of national development.

The locals were sensitized about different flagship schemes and initiatives launched by the Government for their welfare.

Officials and nodal officers organized a session on agricultural activities, including a drone demonstration, and interacted with progressive farmers to discuss organic farming.

For providing free health care services to local people at their doorsteps, free medical camps were organized by the health department. Participants pledged in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat, aiming to foster equal development of rural and urban areas as well.

Taking part in the activity ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’, achievers and beneficiaries of various schemes expressed their experiences. They listened attentively to recorded video messages from the Prime Minister, emphasizing the significance of the campaign. Participants took the Viksit  Bharat Sankalp pledge, affirming their commitment to holistic national development.

The main focus of the Yatra is to reach out to the unattended population, making them aware of various government schemes such as the Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM PRANAM Yojana, and the Urea Subsidy Scheme, along with the process to avail benefits.
