Vikramaditya Singh reviews arrangements for Annual Mela at Mata Kheer Bhawani Temple

Ganderbal, May 30: Vikramaditya Singh ji, former MLC and Trustee of J&K Dharmarth Trust, accompanied by Yuvrani Chitrangada Singh ji, today paid a solemn visit to the revered Mata Kheer Bhawani Temple at Tula Mula in District Ganderbal. He took stock of the arrangements being made for devotees ahead of the Annual Mela.

The Trustee was accorded a warm welcome by the President of the Trust, Dr. P.S. Pathania and Temple Priests, amidst the chanting of Vedic Mantras at the sacred shrine.

On the occasion, Yuvraj Vikramaditya Singh along with Yuvrani Chitrangada Singh ji paid obeisance at the Sacred temple, performed puja rituals, and prayed for peace, harmony, and well-being of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.

Following the puja, the Trustee chaired a detailed review meeting with the Trust President and officials of J&K Dharmarth Trust to oversee the ongoing preparations for the Mela and Pujas. He took note of various arrangements including security, sanitation, accommodation, water, and power supply to ensure that devotees visiting from across the region and beyond do not face any inconvenience during the celebrations.

Vikramaditya Singh issued specific directions to the management for ensuring adequate facilities and seamless coordination among staff members, emphasizing the need for cleanliness, proper signage, medical assistance and round-the-clock support services within the temple complex.

Later, the Trustee took a comprehensive round of the temple premises and interacted with the staff and caretakers.

Vikramaditya Singh reiterated the Trust’s unwavering dedication to preserving the rich cultural and religious heritage of Jammu & Kashmir, and ensuring that all pilgrims can participate in the sacred occasion with devotion and dignity.
