Vikram Randhawa holds Public Darbar at BJP headquarters

Jammu, 07 May 2025: Choudhary Vikram Randhawa, Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Bahu Assembly Constituency, held a Public Darbar at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

The Public Darbar witnessed a strong turnout from various areas of the constituency, with citizens and deputations presenting a range of grievances related to civic, infrastructural, and individual matters.

Among the reported issues, a deputation from sector 7 extension Trikuta Nagar requested for clearance of drain, extension of side drain and installation of new street lights. Deputation from Hajipura Last Morh requested for shifting of Municipality Trolley. A person from Nanak Nagar requested for registration of Plot. An individual from Sanjay Nagar requested for clearance of DPC. Deputation from Gandhi Nagar requested for construction of Lane/Drain in Last Morh. Deputation for Channi complained about shortage of water supply. Deputations from Dilli and Nai Basti requested for installation of new and repair or old street lights.

MLA Randhawa gave a patient hearing to all the attendees and immediately took up most of the issues with the concerned department officials. For the remaining matters, he issued written communications to ensure timely follow-up. He assured the public that necessary actions would be taken without delay.

Speaking on the occasion, Randhawa emphasized that the Public Darbar reflects the BJP’s commitment to people-centric governance. “The Modi Government has maintained a strong connection with the grassroots. The BJP has always been the voice of the people, and this Darbar is a clear example of our dedication to resolving issues and bringing meaningful change,” he said.

He further underscored the commitment of BJP in addressing the region’s challenges, and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to ensuring every citizen’s voice is heard.

Er. TK Sharma, co-convenor Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, J&K BJP coordinated the darbar proceedings. BJP District President Jammu South Naresh Singh Jasrotia was also present on the occasion.
