Vidvat Parishad to intensifies organizational activities in J&K

Jammu, 27 Feb: Jammu and Kashmir Vidvat Parishad, a renowned group of Sanskrit religious scholars have decided to intensify organizational activities in Jammu and Kashmir in coming days. Parishad has also chalked out strategy for organizational activities for promotion of Sanskrit in UT of Jammu and Kashmir.

A monthly meeting was organized under the chairmanship of Padamsrhee Prof Vishawamurti Shastri, president Jammu and Kashmir Kashi Vidvat Parishad, in which members of the parishad discussed the working of organization. By passing a resolution, members decided to enhance the organizational setup of parishad in Jammu and Kashmir for which membership drive would be launched at district level.

After formation of units at district levels, different progammes would be launched for the awareness and promotion of Sanskrit language. State unit of parishad will also organize programmes at educational institutions to make students aware about the ancient Sanskrit language. Parishad will try to remove miss conceptions about Sanskrit language among youngsters.

Parishad members also resolved that a six month target of working should be chalked out for upcoming educational session. On this occasion Prof Mamta Sharma and Ex Principal Prof Sunita Sudan enrolled as member of the parishad. Dr Chander Mouli Raina vice president, Dr Shiv Parshad Raina vice president, Dr Ram Bahadur Shukla vice president, Dr Parkash Sharma General Secretary, Dr Bhushan Shastri, Rajeshwar Sharma, Prof Sunita Sudan, Prof Mamta Sharma, Dr Vijayendra Sharma and Dr Parveen Sharma were present in the meeting.
