VC, CU Jammu attended Akhil Bharatiya Prant Pramukh Baithak of BSM at Hyderabad

Jammu,13 June 2025: Vice Chancellor Central University of Jammu, Prof. Sanjeev Jain who is also president of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Prant of Bhartiya Shiksham Mandal attended Akhil Bhartiya Prant Pramukh Baithak held at Hyderabad during 13-15 June 2025 along with other members of Prant committee. The Governor of Tripura, Shri N Indrasena Reddy, addressed the inaugural session of the Akhil Bharatiya Prant Pramukh Baithak as the Chief Guest who emphasized that for any nation to progress, technology and cultural values are equally important. The fivefold framework adopted by Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal comprising research, awareness, orientation, publication, and organization presents a relevant and holistic educational roadmap suited to Bharat’s needs.

Prof Jain and his karyakarini members who attended the meet are, Prof Vandana Sharma, Dr Rajinder Singh charak, Prof Bharat bhushan, Prof suram Singh. The team is working consistently to make Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal emerge as a transformative force that is leading the transition of education in Bharat from the colonial Macaulay model to a Bharat-centric approach. He expressed confidence that the twenty-first century belongs to Bharat and that the education sector will be central to the nation’s emergence as a global leader in the coming decade.

On this occasion, Dr G Satheesh Reddy, former Chairman of DRDO, who was present as the Guest of Honour, said that Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal is playing a vital role in reshaping the education system of Bharat during this transformative phase led by science and technology. He underlined that technology is a key indicator of any nation’s development, and the foundation of technology lies in the strength of a nation’s education system. Referring to Operation Sindoor, he stated that India has successfully demonstrated its technological capability on the global stage, and this has now become part of the global narrative.

In his welcome address, Dr Sachchidanand Joshi, All-Bharatiya Adhyaksh of Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal, said that the organisation is actively engaged in mentoring the youth and preparing them as intellectual warriors for the cause of nation-building. He further stated that 70% suggestions of BSM have been duly incorporated in the NEP-2020. He remarked that without good teachers, the vision of a well-developed society cannot be achieved. Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal is continuously engaged in orienting teachers through its various Anandshalas across the country.

It is noteworthy that the Akhil Bharatiya Prant Pramukh Baithak of Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal is being held from 13 to 15 June at Kanha Shanti Vanam, Hyderabad (Bhagyanagar). A total of 274 participants from 11 regions of the country are participating in this meeting. The objective of the meeting is to review the activities carried out during the past year and to formulate a roadmap for future initiatives.
