VBSY: A transformative journey across District Pulwama

PULWAMA, December 21: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) continued its impactful journey, having traversed the Panchayats with unwavering momentum; the Yatra reached the urban areas, engaging with Municipal Committees and Municipal Council of the District.

A monumental event unfolded within the limits of Municipal Council Pulwama at Government Central School Pulwama, marking a significant chapter in the Yatra’s expedition.

The event witnessed the presence of Dr. Sanket Kulkarni, Joint Director of the Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme at the National Centre for Disease Control, New Delhi. Besides, the event was attended by ACD Pulwama, CMO Pulwama and other District and Sectoral officers.

Overwhelming public participation added fervor to the occasion.

The proceedings commenced with a thorough inspection of stalls, skillfully set up by various Government departments, showcasing their schemes and initiatives. The atmosphere buzzed with energy as calendars were issued and distributed among attendees. A solemn Sankalp pledge followed, where individuals dedicated themselves to the cause. On-the-spot services were rendered, with the Labour department distributing cheques to beneficiaries, and Golden cards being distributed by the Health Department.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sanket Kulkarni emphasized the significance of utilizing the platform of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. He underscored that this platform serves as the optimal channel for the saturation of Government schemes. He urged every individual to embrace the concept of becoming ‘Viksit’ at a personal level and spreading awareness of Government schemes.

He conveyed the belief that this collective effort would inevitably lead to a ‘Viksit Bharat,’ aligning with the primary objective of Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision behind launching the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.

The event showcased the synergy of Government departments, public participation, and a shared commitment to national development.
