Uplifting Underprivileged Women: Take One Spearheads Donation Drive, Celebration for Women at Mahila Jagriti Udyog Kendra Rehan Basera

Jammu, 8 MARCH: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Take One Television & Digital Network organized a heartening donation drive and celebration event at Mahila Jagriti Udyog Kendra Rehan Basera, aimed at uplifting underprivileged women from all walks of life. Supported by Patanjali, V Flow, and Sanjeev Caterers, the event brought together community leaders, sponsors, and volunteers in a celebration of empowerment and solidarity.

Mahila Jagriti Udyog Kendra Rehan Basera serves as a beacon of hope for the less fortunate citizens of India, providing refuge for those who spend their nights exposed to the elements on the streets and under flyover bridges.

Sanjeev Prabhakar, owner of Sanjeev Caterers, graced the occasion and extended his heartfelt appreciation to the women present, emphasizing their resilience and strength. Lauding the initiative by Take One, he handed over gift hampers including personal hygiene products from Patanjali and V Flow among the underprivileged women.

Among the distinguished guests were Veena Bakshi, President of Mahila Jagriti Udyog Kendra, Mona Dogra from Team Sahara, and Sham Lal Basson, a respected former Corporator. Their presence underscored the significance of collective action in addressing the needs of vulnerable communities.

The event is a testament to Take One’s commitment to uplifting and empowering all women including the ones marginalized in society. Under the leadership of Praveen Baru, GM Marketing and Events at Take One Television & Digital Network, the event aimed to reach out to women who lack access to essential resources. Through a donation drive, care packages containing hygiene products for women were distributed to the attendees, thanks to the generous support of sponsors Patanjali, V Flow, Amantran & V Flow.

The event by Take One at Mahila Jagriti Udyog Kendra Rehan Basera exemplifies the spirit of Women’s Day – a day to honour the achievements of women and reaffirms our commitment to gender equality and social justice.
