Two interstate drug peddlers arrested with contraband substances in Kulgam

Kulgam September 29: Continuing the war against drug trafficking, Kulgam Police have apprehended two interstate drug peddlers, identified as Balwinder Singh from Shairiwala, Ludhiana, and Harvinder Singh from Walipor, Ludhiana. The arrests were made in connection with the recovery of a substantial 19 kilograms of PoppyStraw-like contraband.

The police action, executed under FIR No213/2023 U/S 8/15, 29 NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act, took place in the jurisdiction of PS Qazigund.
