Training programme held for Supervisors, Surveyors at Rajouri
RAJOURI, MAY 05: A one-day training programme for supervisors and surveyors was successfully conducted today at the Conference Hall of the DC Office Rajouri to facilitate the upcoming House-to-House Survey under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban (PMAY-U) 2.0. The programme was organized under the overall supervision of Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa, Additional District Development Commissioner and Nodal Officer PMAY-U, and coordinated by District Statistics and Evaluation Officer Sandeep Kumar Sharma.

The training witnessed enthusiastic participation from supervisors and field investigators drawn from the Municipal Committees of Rajouri and Thannamandi. The primary objective of the session was to equip field functionaries with the requisite knowledge and skills for effective and accurate data collection in urban areas of the district.
Master trainers from the Statistical Cadre led comprehensive sessions covering the objectives, methodology, and operational framework of the PMAY-U 2.0 survey. Special emphasis was laid on the practical use of a dedicated mobile application developed to streamline data collection and ensure precision during the house-to-house survey.
The training programme is a key step towards the successful implementation of PMAY-U 2.0 in Rajouri District, enabling field staff to contribute effectively to the mission’s goal of ensuring housing for all in urban areas.
