Three-Day Sudhmahadev Mela concludes successfully
Jammu, June 14: The three-day-long Sudhmahadev Mela, held from June 10 at the sacred temples of Sudhmahadev and Mantalai, concluded with great religious enthusiasm and traditional fervor. Thousands of devotees from various parts of the region participated in the annual event, which offered a vibrant blend of spiritual devotion, cultural performances, and community bonding.
Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust, under the leadership of its Hon’ble Chairman Trustee Dr Karan Singh ji and other Trustees, made elaborate arrangements to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the Mela.
During the three-day celebrations, Dr. P.S. Pathania, President of the Dharmarth Trust, Ashok Sharma (IPS Retd), Trust Secretary, visited the Mela site to review the arrangements on the ground. Additionally, Varinder Singh Jamwal, Additional Secretary of the Trust remained stationed at the venue for the entire duration of the Mela to oversee coordination and management.
Dr. Pathania stated that the Trust had ensured adequate facilities for a seamless and spiritually enriching experience for all pilgrims. “This sacred occasion inspires optimism, collective harmony, compassion, and a renewed sense of duty among devotees. It reinforces the ideals of unity and devotion in our society,” he said.
The Trust’s President also extended heartfelt gratitude to the local administration for its invaluable support. Essential services including drinking water, sanitation, medical aid, uninterrupted power supply, and crowd management were meticulously planned and executed, contributing to the overall success of the event.
